Can’t quite meet the December 2020 deadline to secure the full $25,000 ‘HomeBuilder’ grant? Make 2021 your year and take advantage of the Federal Government’s revised $15,000 ‘HomeBuilder’ grant!
A Home Buyer’s Delight – The new and extended ‘HomeBuilder’ grant will enable eligible owner-occupiers (not just first home buyers), to access $15,000 for building contracts (new builds and substantial renovations) signed between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2021. With an additional relaxation to the construction commencement timeframe from 3 months to 6 months, ‘HomeBuilder’ applicants will now be able to spend more quality time planning their dream homes with their builders before the building process begins.
